New music keeps coming, and keeping up with all the songs from across the Caribbean basin is no simple task. However, on our sidebar we have "New Soca 2025," where we showcase all the new music via a YouTube player. We also curate posts that highlight songs offering a refreshing change. Today, we feature a song released for Vincy Mas by Kendel Burke, also known as 'Chow Minister.' This song caught my attention because it embodies pure carnival spirit in musical form! The album "New Horizon Riddim" includes the track "This is Carnival." If you haven't had the chance to listen yet, I highly recommend giving it a play. Trust me, vibes cyah done!

So what stands out with this song? Well, we love what we call the 'musical flow'; some may call it the vibe of the song. We all know that it means capturing the music's essence, atmosphere, and rhythm, and this song has it all! Now, while the pace of the song is closer to the Power Soca side of Soca, we believe that the BPM catches the spirit and flow of a true carnival vibe and should become a winner for every Soca music lover.

Good music without meaningful lyrical content is just noise to a beat! The songwriter crafted this song to provide you with lyrical content that perfectly complements the musical vibe. The song isn't just about the spirit of carnival; it paints a vivid picture that you can 'see as you listen to the song.' It's wonderful when the lyrical content and music and vocal delivery make you feel the excitement of mas, the revelry—every element that makes carnival the euphoric experience we know and love. The song instantly transports you to the midst of a jump-up, with flags waving, sweat dripping, and rhythm taking over.

The vocals capture the listener; after all, Chow Minister has been immersed in the culture since childhood, and as reported in an interview with AnnSVG, he stated, "Dancing behind prominent local artists like Skinny Fabulous and Zola was thrilling, but music was always in his blood."

DJ Jeanie deserves recognition for the music recording, while all production credit goes to IanMusic. HunttaFlow Productions contributed the final touches to enhance the overall flow. Great job, everyone!

So what is our final verdict? Without a doubt, we really like the song. We could have chosen one of many releases today for posting, but this one, as mentioned at the beginning, caught our attention. The track is the kind of song that will have masqueraders chipping down the road, hands in the air, feeling that carnival spirit deep in their soul. It’s not too fast, not too slow—it makes you want to carry the vibes from sunup to sundown.

The Vincys (don't start that conversation with the Trinis, OK) love to boast that they have the best carnival in the Caribbean and Saint Vincent & The Grenadines has been consistently delivering fire soca, and the Chow Minister is keeping that energy alive. If you haven't listened yet, fix that now! Get ready to soak up the vibes, because this season is carnival! We know that you will add this song to your playlist and have it on rewind... enjoy the vibes!

It's time to get your heads in the game; Trinibad music is real and making waves! Consider this post our way of 'getting in the game' rather than being late to the party. This is the queen of TriniBad, Lady Lava, with her wicked music release titled "Bob The Builder." We're absolutely here for it and showing our full Sokah2Soca love.

While some 'cuss words' have been removed from the version presented for this post, the raw essence and undeniable fire of the track remain powerfully intact. But wait, hold on now, we have included the "raw version" for those inclined to listen to the original, unfiltered work. Lady Lava's lyrical prowess and commanding presence shine through, proving that the message and the vibe don't need explicit language to hit hard.

I know some older people may not like this music style, but isn't that how people felt when soca replaced calypso? I am not saying that TriniBad's music will replace Soca, but it is the music and voice of the youth; let's embrace and support our creative genius.

We celebrate the enduring presence of TriniBad music. We honor Lady Lava, the Queen of TriniBad, for her dedication to promoting the genre. Her versatility and ability to connect with broader audiences while remaining true to the roots of the music and culture are truly commendable.

Are you ready for some mischief? Are you prepared to engage in some playful carnival-feting activities? Well, if you answered yes to any of the questions asked, then you are ready for a serious vibe upgrade and mischief galore with the release of the "Monkey Brain Riddim" for Barbado Crop Over Carnival 2025!

This explosive and high-energy album produced by the very talented Dwaingerous of Platta Studios is ready to control Kadooment 2025. The music feels right, and with Andrew Denny's final touches done to perfection, these songs will take control in fetes and on the road during carnival in Barbados.

This riddim is built for vibes, featuring a powerhouse lineup of soca giants: King Bubba x Shanta Prince bringing pure emotion with Feelings, Lil Rick igniting the party with Wet, Nigel Lewis unleashing pure revelry with No Behavior, and Paho delivering the ultimate celebration anthem with R.U.M.

This album should be the catalyst for carnival fever as it grips Barbados' Crop Over—because once the bass hits and the vibes take over, there’s no turning back. The "Monkey Brain Riddim" is here, and carnival will never be the same.

With his latest music release for Vincy Mas, titled "For Curry," Problem Child and his pen are once again causing serious mischief. The song comes from the "Doh Panic" Riddim, and honestly, it's not your average double entendre—this is a full-blown tongue twister designed to trip you up in the most hilarious way.

Soca comes from Calypso, and in Calypso the composer/singer can cleverly put words together that can make people cringe, laugh or simply get the meaning without saying what everyone understands about the message. "For Curry" is a clever play on words, turning an innocent phrase into something that might just get you side-eyed in conversation. Coupled with the vibrant production by Miguel "Migz" Joseph of Vibez Productionz and expertly mixed by Yannick Plante of Minor Productionz, the track delivers an irresistible groove packed with playful, wicked energy.

You know what they say about this talented songwriter/artist: "Problem is a problem!" True to Problem Child's signature style, "For Curry" aims to confuse, amuse, and get you dancing. Whether you find yourself tripping over the lyrics or fully embracing the playful chaos, one thing is certain—it’s another Soca anthem that begs for repeat plays.

Just remember, when you try to sing this song, to be careful and sure of your words. Be mindful if children are around; you wouldn’t want to embarrass yourself while trying to keep up with the witty and cheeky style of Problem Child. We love it, and we see Vincyland embracing this song—not just for silly talk, but for fun.
