It's time to diversify your Caribbean music playlist with some vibrant vibes from the world of Bouyon music. This mixtape will add some speed to your day and help prepare you for your weekend party events. This is Bouyon, and today we present a mixtape by DJ Shakeelo for your listening pleasure.

Our goal is to diversify our music playlist, and with this mix, we think you will appreciate our efforts. So, whether you’re a seasoned Bouyon enthusiast or a newcomer, there’s something here for everyone.

"Hailing from New Jersey, this musical virtuoso has mastered the art of blending genres, creating seamless transitions, and keeping the energy levels sky-high. His mixes are more than just playlists; they’re sonic journeys that transport listeners to sun-soaked beaches, lively street parties, and pulsating dancefloors."

About DJ Shakeelo (djshakeelo.com):
Shaquille is a talented DJ who embarked on his musical journey in 2017, following the tragic loss of his mother. Music has been his therapy and his joy ever since. He and his mother immigrated to New Jersey, USA in 2010.

He had some difficulties in adapting to the new culture, but he quickly developed a passion for baseball, which he enjoyed along with soccer, track, and bowling. He completed his high school education and went to various colleges before enrolling at NJIT university, where he majored in Mechanical Engineering Technology.

During his college years, he decided to take his DJing skills to the public and began doing Facebook live sessions, which earned him some fans and opportunities to join music groups. After collaborating with several groups at different times, he realized that he had not found his ideal partner yet, so he returned to his solo career and continued to explore and seek new opportunities.

It is Friday, and we have new music to start the weekend. In New York City, the weather feels glorious today, and with that, we present new music from New York City resident Lyrikal. The song is titled "Open It" and was released as part of the Go Mode Riddim.

"Open It" delivers an irresistible party vibe that is just right to start the weekend. If you haven’t already, check out the official audio for “Open It” on YouTube. Trinidadian-born Lyrikal has the charisma and vibe to create a Caribbean carnival feeling wherever you live.

We highly recommend this song to launch your weekend. Yes, it is Friday, the end of the work week, but just the start of the party weekend. So, let the music play and share in the joy that Soca music dictates. Yes, “Open It” is more than a song; it’s an invitation to celebrate life, dance freely, and embrace the joy of music. So, next time you hear those infectious beats, remember Lyrikal’s words: “Open it up!”

You know the saying, "Problem is ah Problem" and yes, problems are a pain when they come along, but today this problem is just the way and just "How Ah Like It." This is new music from the prolific songwriter and a force in the Soca industry, Shertz James, better known as Problem Child.

Vincy Mas is on the horizon, and with that comes some unique music from SVG (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines). Problem Child is one of the unique artists who is well known in the Soca music industry. This song, "How Ah Like It" should quickly become a party favorite. The song has a vibe, and the production work done by Added Rankin simply complements the writing skills of the artist, singer, and songwriter Shertz James (Problem Child).

We have a song with "a vibe," a song that stands out, a singer who is beloved, and an upcoming celebration that will feature excellent music like this song. As the festival approaches and plans evolve for feting, remember to dance "how ah like it," indeed, "how we like it," and let the spirit of sweet Soca music take over.

We recommend this song, and as Problem Child's music and popularity continue to evolve, we will remain hooked on his brilliant writing skills. Enjoy the song and party hard and remember to monitor this site for more 'new music' from this talented SVG native.

Can you feel it? Can you sense what is coming? Well, as the sun-kissed days of August unfold, Spicemas becomes a reality. It is festival time; the air becomes electric, and the streets come alive with revelers, dancers, and music enthusiasts. Yes, dear friends, it is carnival time again, and amidst this carnival frenzy, Valene Nedd’s song “Tell Me Nah” emerges as a spirited anthem, beckoning everyone to join the revelry; it is time to play mas!

Valene is on fire and playfully asks, "Tell Me Nah," as she encourages her fans to jump in and have fun. She just wants to party, have fun, and whine the whole night. "Tell Me Nah" is an invitation to shed inhibitions, embrace joy, and dance without restraint.

Can you find something sweeter than Soca? "Tell Me Nah"! Nice, so whether you’re sipping a rum punch, adorned in glitter, or simply swaying to the beat, this song encapsulates the spirit of Spicemas—a time when joy knows no bounds. So, dear reveler, it is time to have fun, and when Valene Nedd asks, “Tell me nah, what you are waiting for?”—your answer is clear: Let loose, dance wildly, and immerse yourself in the magic of Grenada’s Carnival.
