We continue to monitor and bring you the trending songs for various islands of the Caribbean basin. Today we go to the land of Ragga Soca, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, to determine what songs are trending. Saint Vincent is home to various musical styles, including traditional Soca (Ragga & Power), Jab Soca, and Bouyon music.

We will attempt to keep up with the changes as the chart changes weekly. As Vincy Mas approaches and all the new music prepares for release, we anticipate swift changes.

Saint Vincent has all kinds of music and something for just about everyone. This trending list is part of a Spotify playlist of 40 songs compiled by "The Soca Source." We are sharing a taste of the music with the hope that you will 'search out' more music for Vincy Mas 2025.

Let me be clear: don't tamper with something that resonates deeply! Songs that have such a profound impact that they become anthems, musical works of art where music and lyrics collide to deliver perfection, and untouchable masterpieces are among the things you simply don't tamper with. One of those uncommon gems is Machel Montano's "The Truth," which was expertly produced by Full Blown Entertainment.

With the season's best music video, in my humble opinion, it's Carnival 2025 condensed into a musical extravaganza filled with glitz and visually pleasing scenes. Regrettably, despite our belief that perfection was unattainable, someone made a valiant attempt and ultimately failed.

The so-called remix "Truth & Balance" took away the original's joy, spirit, and very essence. This version is chaos rather than balance. It isn't even worthy of being part of a celebration, let alone upholding the original's legacy. This belongs in a radio segment called "Try It or Sky It." If called upon 'to try it or sky it,' I promise to sky this version into the Gulf of Paria! This remix just went Kilkitay—to use the ideal Trini expression!

Kilkitay is off balance. Let's just say that some things are better left alone. Sorry, guys, but at Sokah2Soca we don't approve of this version: @Nvtzz x Monk Music x DJ Mac  x Spaj Phoenix x LSMG x Full Blown Entertainment.
