This is new music from Darryl "Farmer Nappy" Henry for Trinidad and Tobago's 2024 Carnival. This song has an 'Old School" vibe and should find favor not only with Farmer Nappy's fans but with those longing for the sound of Brass and that 'back-in-the-day feel'!
The song was written by another Soca artist, Joel “Zan” Feveck, along with music producers Anthony Chow Lin On and Darryl “Farmer Nappy” Henry. The song was produced by Chinese Laundry and Rishi Mahato (Maha Productions) and is part of the “Candy Dance Riddim,” which was recently released for Trinidad and Tobago's 2024 Carnival.
We love the change in direction this song took and the vocals by Farmer Nappy. The sound of the brass used in this production will be well received by the listening public. We recommend this very interesting track from Farmer Nappy, Chinese Laundry, and Maha Productions.

The song "Magic Touch" by Dj Private Ryan x Keshav was recently released for Trinidad and Tobago's 2024 Carnival. The song is about the singer's desire to be with someone they are attracted to. The lyrics are sexually suggestive, and the music is upbeat and danceable. The song is just 2 minutes and 39 seconds long but is deserving of 3:30 minutes in length. A video for the song will help propel this excellent production.
The singer, Keshav, is part of the famous duo "Jus Now." Keshav also does production, and it was surprising to see him on the Battalion Music scene. This is a welcome sign and shows the versatility of DJ Private Ryan. We love this song!
The song should be well-received by critics. One reviewer called it "a catchy and infectious tune that is sure to get you moving." Another reviewer said that the song is "a great example of the versatility of soca music." One YouTube comment said the following: "Private doesn't miss with his productions. Well done on this execution, Keshav. This has a vibe."
Overall, "Magic Touch" is a fun and catchy song that is sure to get you moving. The song is well-produced, the vibe is sweet and Keshav nailed the vocals. I highly recommend checking it out.

This is new music from Nailah Blackman for Trinidad and Tobago's 2024 carnival. Oh my, "Round and Rosie" will never have the same meaning after this song destroys feting in sweet TnT. Children loved playing Round and Rosie 'back in the day, but today's version takes the cake! This song puts men on the defensive, and if you don't know what we are talking about, just listen to the song!
This carnival will expose in song what everyone is aware of: men will have to compete with women to get a whine on a woman. Many women simply love the vibe they get from other women when feting. After all, there is something very sensual about a woman whining at a fete. Guys, good luck, because other women are looking too.
Nailah is putting men on notice, and her music video says it all. This song will surely impact feting for Carnival 2024. We love the vibe and expect this song to become very popular for Trinidad and Tobago's 2024 carnival. Nice...

No disrespect to all other Soca artists out there; there is no one who can call the game the way it is played, like Bunji Garlin. "Tell Yuh Mudda Now" is a wake-up call to the path to living a proud and respectful life. Truth be told! The song is an energetic and catchy Soca track that celebrates freedom and self-expression.
The lyrics encourage listeners to be confident and unapologetic but not disrespectful, and to not let anyone tell them what they can or cannot do. The song is also a call to action, urging people to stand up for themselves and fight for what they believe in. This is not a case of just doing it like the Nike ad says, but doing it in such a way that you stand firm while uplifting your fellow man. The bottom line is that one should own up to the mistakes we make in life... confession is good for the soul. Life is sweet, and Bunji is telling us the way it should be lived.
The upbeat tempo and infectious melody make this song a perfect party anthem, while the message of empowerment is sure to resonate with listeners of all ages. Stand tall, feel proud, live your life, and fulfill your place on this journey of life.
