"Rum & Raisin" is the latest single by Nailah Blackman, released on June 17, 2023. The song is a smooth, sultry Soca track with a catchy melody and Blackman's dreamy vocals. I loved the song's introduction, but from that point on, I was lost for words—literally, that is! That is the reason I mentioned the lyrics are a 'blur' at this time. I don't believe I have a "speech sound disorder." No, I don't because I can comprehend just about any song I hear. However, I can't understand what Nailah Blackman is singing about in this track, "Rum & Raisin". Listen to the song, don't look at the lyrics on the music video, and tell us if you understand her vocals. I guess that is the reason they put out a 'lyric/visualizer music video'... truth be told!
