Today, while listening to WACK Visual Radio on YouTube, I heard a song that I thought was ideal for Tony Prescott to sing. It had Tony written all over it, and the music was so sweet I was enjoying every moment. I expressed my feelings in the chat box, only to receive an immediate response, "That's Tony singing!" How did I miss that music release? Today, I'm making up for it with this post. The song is titled "Like the Way" by Carl 'Beaver' Henderson featuring Tony Prescott on vocals. I did not like the album's graphics, so I created a new cover image for this song using Dall.E3 AI Image Creator.

As is always the case, music has a way to make every heartache heal; it has the unique power to transport us, wake up our emotions, and connect us across cultures and generations. Regardless of your age, "Like the Way" will be appreciated across all generations and music genre lovers. In other words, we at Sokah2Soca are saying that this song has universal appeal. If this song caught my attention, then it will captivate anyone who appreciates good music. What a job done by Tony on vocals... so damn good!

This tune is track number twelve on the album titled "It Is a New Day" by Carl "Beaver" Henderson. The music on this album is excellent, and Tony's song sent me looking for the album. Beaver composed this song, while Tony Prescott provided the vocals.  The collaboration between Beaver's intricate melodies and Prescott's powerful voice truly brings the track to life. Each note resonates with emotion, making it a standout piece on an already impressive album.

"Like the Way" is a feel-good song. If you listen to it, you'll likely have it on repeat, just as I did. If you're feeling a bit down or in need of a mood boost, play this song. We guarantee you'll feel better after listening. The artistry behind the track showcases the dedication and passion of both the composer and the vocalist. We love it, and we encourage you to share this post with your social media peers. Finally, please leave comments for the singer and those who contributed to the music.

What a beautiful song! I simply can't get enough of this new music release from Patrice. Ungrateful by Patrice is a deeply moving and empowering song that speaks directly to the hearts of so many Caribbean women and, you know what, women in general. As you listen to Patrice sing this song, it feels as though she is sharing a story that many women can relate to, one of betrayal, heartbreak, and ultimately, self-empowerment. "Ungrateful" is not just an ordinary song; it will be an anthem for anyone who has ever felt undervalued and decided to reclaim their life, self-respect, and, yes, their worth.

The lyrics create a vivid picture of a love that people took for granted. Patrice's voice conveys the weight of someone who has sacrificed everything, only to face deception and ingratitude. Despite the pain, there is a significant shift. "Ungrateful" addresses more than just the hurt; it also highlights the strength that comes from choosing oneself. It emphasizes the realization that you deserve better and the importance of letting go of what no longer serves you.

"Ungrateful" by Patrice is a powerful emotional song that resonates with listeners. The soothing Afro Soca rhythm and lyrics by Yannick Plante and Adan Octave are personal and universally relatable. The song encourages self-love and resilience, reminding listeners to embrace their worth and move forward with grace and confidence.

Despite our love for the song, its music, vibe, and emotional pull, we must acknowledge that the visuals for the music video enhance the overall production value. Everything seemed to align perfectly. The country scene, the ocean view, and the restaurant scene all add value to this song. We applaud all those who make those scenes happen.

The song delivers a message for self-acceptance and resilience, inspiring listeners to embrace their worth. The music video, featuring serene landscapes, oceans, and vibrant restaurant settings, demonstrates the artistry behind these scenes, celebrating personal growth and communal support.

"Ungrateful" by Patrice showcases her artistry and pushes boundaries in Soca music, proving that great music knows no season—it simply exists to be enjoyed. What are your thoughts on this latest release? Please leave a comment here and share the post with your social media peers.

Summer carnivals for 2025 are on the horizon, with so many anticipating sweet Soca songs to come. Today we feature a song that could become the anthem for Grand Kadooment 2025. For those who may not be aware, Kadooment represents Carnival in Barbados. For this post we feature a song titled "Too Sweet" by veteran Bajan Soca talent Peter Ram.

This sizzling track is a production of DJ Spider and was written by Peter "Ram" Wiggins, mixed and mastered by Jhoann Seaton, and published by DJ Spider GW Music. Age is but a number when it comes to excellent music; Peter Ram is one of those artists proving, once again, why he is one of the standout singers for Bashment Soca and Soca music in general.

When the song starts, one can quickly pick up on the Bashment vibe. It embodies the essence of Bashment Soca and sets the stage for a grand party that so many head to Barbados to experience.

We understand that it is early and that most of the music releases are yet to hit the radio stations and distribution centers. But we can say with certainty that Bajan radio stations will play this song on repeat. So be sure to check out Peter Ram's "Too Sweet" and tell us what you think about the song.

Additionally, you can ensure that "Too  Sweet" is not just a hit for Kadooment. Share this post on social media to reach your peers in the diaspora and beyond. We recommend this song and can't wait to see how it impacts Kadooment 2025.
