We delved into the archives to unearth this gem for your enjoyment. This collection of songs will make you homesick as it brings out the spirit of Trinidad's Christmas celebrations. DJ Tony Tempo created this feature mixtape for Sokah2Soca as part of the 2018 series, Friday Jumpstart Mixes: Parang Soca Edition. Tony Tempo skillfully crafted a delightful mixtape that celebrates our unique Parang Soca music, perfectly fitting for this season of merriment.
Parang Soca is "We Ting," as we love to say in Trinidad and Tobago. The people had grown weary of the clichés of 'dreaming of a white Christmas', 'Jingle Bells', and other traditional North American Christmas carols. Parang Soca was created to replace all that cold Christmas music; after all, we don't experience winter, and the warmth of the weather washes over the country for the entire Christmas season.
This Jumpstart mixtape features songs you may not be familiar with but are wholesome and capture the true spirit of the people during this time of the year. From infectious rhythms to heartwarming melodies, this mixtape has it all. It's the perfect soundtrack for holiday gatherings, whether you're hosting a party or simply enjoying a cozy evening with family.

Are you ready for the fête season in 2025? Well, you better be prepared, and if not, then we advise that you listen to Ravi B's new music release. The song, titled "Livin' Up," evokes the spirit of Carnival and beckons the reveler to enjoy the moment and just have fun. Kasey Phillips of Precision Productions expertly mixed and mastered this music release, produced by Lunatix Production. This song is the roadmap to having a fantastic time at Carnival 2025.
We all want to enjoy life and have a good time, but when it comes to carnival, this is modus operandi times ten! Our destiny during this festive season is to fête and enjoy life to its fullest. Does Soca music make you wake up with a smile? Today we present the 'happy song' for Carnival 2025 by a very promising and authentic singer. Aisha Noel, a rising female artist in Trinbago, sings "Nothing Like Soca." "Nothing Like Soca" is a production of Soca royalty, Kyle Phillips of Badjohn Republic, and the bad boyz of Soca music, De Red Boyz out of Barbados. Kasey Phillips from Precision Productions performed the final magic of mixing and mastering. A very talented group of people got together to deliver this feel-good song for Carnival 2025.
Aisha's first release, "Nobody Be Safe," in 2018 laid the foundation for the artist she is today. As she persevered, we saw her progressive growth as a singer and now as a talented songwriter. This song exudes the confidence of the artist/songwriter, and with her beautiful smile comes a feeling of joy to those who love Soca music.
Aisha's soothing vocals convey her passion for life and her love for Soca music. It's evident that Aisha is deeply passionate about her craft, and when she collaborates with these talented producers, she elevates the music to a level that not only inspires people but also uplifts those who are in a fog, seeking a way out.
