Daily releases of new Soca songs and albums have the Soca world buzzing with excitement. Today, Sokah2Soca presents a musically stirring "Bottle Man Riddim," a production of the talented Simon Lettsome Jr., also known as GusBus. This album, mixed by GusBus and mastered by the renowned Kasey Phillips of Precision Productions, promises to be the heartbeat of Trinidad's 2025 Carnival celebrations.

The who is who on an album starts with curiosity then excitement creating murmurs that are eventually memes and chatter on social media. "Bottle Man Riddim" features an all-star lineup including the phenomenal Fay-Ann Lyons, the legendary Bunji Garlin, and the versatile Lyrikal. Each artist brings their unique flair to the riddim, creating a collection of tracks that showcase the best of Soca music.

It is all about the music and the old school bottle and spoon vibes: that, apart from the lyrical content, will lead to the success of these songs. What makes this album truly special is its "bottle and spoon vibes"—a nostalgic nod to the grassroots of Calypso and now Soca, where makeshift instruments and infectious rhythms create an atmosphere of pure, unfiltered celebration. The relaxed feel of the music invites listeners to let loose and enjoy the Carnival spirit to the fullest.

We will risk these artists' fans' wrath and rate these songs as we felt them. We dedicated some time to listening to and rating these songs.
  1. Fay-Ann Lyons: Fay-Ann is boss. She absolutely takes the riddim to new heights with her commanding presence and unmatched energy.
  2. Lyrikal: Coming in second, Lyrikal delivers a smooth and captivating performance that complements the riddim perfectly.
  3. Bunji Garlin: Third place goes to Bunji Garlin, whose powerful vocals and dynamic style add a rich layer to the album.
Here is what we think about this album: "Bottle Man Riddim" is a testament to the talent and creativity within the Soca community. GusBus has crafted an album that not only honors the tradition of Soca music but also brings a fresh, relaxed vibe to the Carnival season. We love the vibe and relaxed feel of this release, and we can't wait to see how it sets the tone for Trinidad's 2025 Carnival celebrations.

This album will not only take you home, bring back old school memories but will transport you to Port-of-Spain on Carnival Day liming with friends while knocking bottle and spoon rhythms. We feel the music, understand the vibes and know that you will absolutely love the feting feel of these songs. Now press play, vibe to the music then come back and shar your thoughts with your social media peers. We would love to hear from you... vibes!

Earlier today we featured Machel Montano's "Whole Day Party" as the debut song for the SOL album on Sokah2Soca. This much-anticipated album also features tracks by the incredible GBM Nutron, Machel Montano, and Farmer Nappy. This post introduces you to all three songs in a mixed format and also the full-length tracks so that you can get a feel for the songs. With its relaxed vibe, this album is sure to be a hit among fans of these talented artists.

GBM Nutron produced, mixed, and mastered the SOL Riddim, with additional production from Country Life Music, which is sure to leave a lasting impression on your playlist as you listen to it repeatedly. While not everyone will immediately sense the vibe of these songs, a vibe such as this one will undoubtedly "grow on you"! Listen to the songs a few times, after which we welcome your opinion.

To be honest, we love the chilled-out feel; we love Groove Soca music, but we’re eager to hear your thoughts! So here is the deal: we think that this album is perfect for grabbing everyone's attention and setting the stage for the chilled-out musical experience it promises. Enjoy the vibes!

Sol Riddim Songs 2025

Originally posted on the blog Sokah2Soca (www.sokah2soca.com). We bring you only the best new music, while Island Vybe Radio rocks it live on the air!

At Sokah2Soca, we're buzzing with excitement as we kick off the weekend with the latest Soca sensation from the legendary Machel Montano. His new track, "Whole Day (Party)," produced, mixed, and mastered by the vibes master GBM Nutron, is everything we love about Montano's music. It's vibrant, it's uplifting, and it captures the very essence of Trinidad's rich musical culture.

As soon as the song begins, you can feel the electrifying energy that Machel Montano brings. The lyrics, simple yet evocative, transport us to the heart of a Trinidadian celebration. When you hear Machel's voice on a Soca song, you have to understand, as we love to say in Trinidad & Tobago, "De Ting Start!" And, as expected, it all translates into an all-day-long party filled with Soca vibes, prancing and palancing everywhere, and a sense of community that only MM can evoke so effortlessly.

What makes this release even more special is the powerhouse collaboration behind it. Written by GBM Productions, Darryl "Farmer Nappy" Henry, and Machel Montano himself, this track is a testament to the creative genius of these musical maestros. And let's not forget the magic touch of GBM Nutron, who's well-known "GBM" signature sound, as the music unfolds, has elevated the song to new heights through his production.

"Whole Day (Party)" is the kind of music that makes you want to get up and dance, whether you're at a party in the office (be careful not to annoy the boss/office manager) or just in your living room. It's a celebration of life and a reminder of the joyous spirit of Trinidad and Tobago, our people, our culture, and our signature carnival.

At Sokah2Soca, we couldn't be more thrilled to start the weekend on such an uplifting and musically vibrant note. GBM Nutron's impeccable production perfectly captures the Machel Montano we've come to love.

Put on your dancing shoes and prepare for this "Whole Day Party" where you will party all day and night with the Monk's latest hit. We love it, and we're sure you will too!
