We are deeply disappointed to report that there was no audio broadcast online or in Trinidad and Tobago for the Single Pan Bands Panorama Finals 2025 at Queen's Park Savannah. While there was a Pay-Per-View (PPV) feed available from WACK Radio 90.1 FM/TV for US$15.00, this left many fans without access to the event.
Unfortunately, there was no audio feed locally or for listeners tuning in from abroad, leaving many fans feeling disconnected and frustrated as they missed out on the live experience..
For those who couldn't attend in person or afford the PPV fee, this meant missing out on the vibrant sounds and cultural experience that the Panorama Finals traditionally provide. It's a significant cultural void, as the audio feed has always been a staple alongside any PPV service.
We must ask: Who is responsible for this oversight? The absence of an accessible audio feed has left many fans feeling disconnected from an event that is a cornerstone of our cultural heritage. We applaud the efforts of WACK Radio 90.1/TV programming during the carnival period. We also understand that this is a costly endeavor, and maybe, just maybe, we are asking too much of those in charge of WACK Radio.
We anticipate prompt resolution of this issue to guarantee everyone's enjoyment and participation in future Panorama events. Let's keep the spirit of Pan alive and accessible for all!
While many have complained about television feeds during the carnival period, we understand their frustration. Buffering feeds and even outages have occurred at times. It is very disappointing that with such modern technology available, there is no national entity to provide quality and reliable service. It is understandable that such equipment is costly, but Trinidad & Tobago wants to promote carnival and make it a cash cow. Shouldn't the world get quality feeds to entice purchasing PPV feeds? What are your thoughts on this situation?
