"Lorraine doh cry ah leaving; Ah cyah miss dis jammin'" are two lines from the chorus to one of the most popular songs for Carnival in Trinidad. It was sung by Calypsonian Explainer back in 1982. That was over 40 years ago, and today we are getting ready to "Runaway" from the cold again, but this time with Mical Teja telling the story.

Carnival 2024 in Trinidad just got a whole lot hotter with the arrival of "Dance Nice," the infectious new collaboration between Soca veterans Bunji Garlin and producer Romie Rome. "With all the bad vibes happening across the world and even here in sweet T&T," Romie explained, "we wanted to send out a frequency that would only attract, share, and multiple good vibes and good energy to the festival and beyond.
