Wotless by Kes the Band was a big hit, so what happens if you behave more wotless than Kes? Well, first of all, you need to work on a vibe that brings out the spirit of an enjoyable carnival music jam. Is that a Calypso vibe, or is it something else? Soca or Jab Soca may work, but the true feel of a jam-down vibe is a bottle and spoon jam. For that, you should aim for a "CalypSoca" vibe! CalypSoca has the Soca feel of the drum kit, but everything else feels like an old school calypso vibe. Right, create it and call it the Sugar and Spice Riddim.

This presentation is one of many we will feature for the current Pan in the 21st Century competition in Trinidad and Tobago. 

 

Heritage Petroleum Skiffe Steelband is one of the most popular steel bands in Trinidad and Tobago. It is known for its energetic performances and innovative arrangements. Skiffle Bunch, as they are affectionately known, is a vibrant and dynamic part of the Trinidad and Tobago music scene. It is a band that is constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries of steel pan music. Led by Junia Regrello, this band remains one of the more popular steel-bands from San Fernando. 

 

The Heritage Petroleum Skiffle Steelband presented a big band sound at the preliminary round of Pan. Century competition. We wish them well.

Tik Pon Di Tok is the latest Soca song by Barbadian artist Jus D. It was released on May 28, 2023, and is one of the many songs played during Barbados' Crop Over festival. Jus D is one of the singers who always brings music that people love to 'wuk up' to in a very sensual manner. We love the vibe!

 

The song is a catchy, upbeat tune that gets people dancing. The lyrics are about having fun and enjoying life, and the song's positive message will resonate with listeners. Now, if you find that the music sounds familiar, then you are correct, your auditory processes are not fooling you.
