Never, ever forget the "Bassman from Hell"! Never ever forget the talent that was the "Mighty Shadow"! In the past, we have celebrated Shadow's incredible contributions to the music scene. His unique sounds and unforgettable performances have left an indelible mark on the hearts of fans everywhere; therefore, it is fitting that we continue to do so even though there is a deluge of New Soca deserving to be posted. 

 

I have published several posts honoring the life and music of the late and incredible talent known as the Mighty Shadow. As long as Calypso and Soca music remain relevant, his unique style on stage and his unique music will endure forever. It's Friday, and we think that as the weekend draws near, some Shadow music is the ideal way to usher in this weekend's activities.

 

The legendary singer, born in Belmont, Trinidad, grew up in Tobago. His musical genius catapulted him to become the iconic Calypsonian from Trinidad. His musical mastery gave us music that continues to resonate with fans worldwide.
